Evolution of Breath is a deeply immersive 4-week in-person breathwork teacher training that invites you into transformation through conscious connected breath, shamanic ritual, and trauma-informed space holding. While breathwork is our anchor, we walk alongside sound, movement, cold exposure, and Earth-based practices to open new dimensions of healing. This is not a course. It's a sacred return to self.
This is not just a method—it’s a transmission. Most trainings teach technique. This one teaches presence. Through Mike’s shamanic approach, you’ll be held in ritual, archetype, elemental guidance, and embodied intuition. Breathwork opens the door. Ceremony, shadow play, movement, and voice help you walk through it.
Each day is a dance between depth and integration. Mornings begin with grounding practices—yoga, Qi Gong, or movement—followed by cold exposure to awaken the system. Midday breathwork journeys open emotional and energetic release. Afternoons offer partner work, group training, and space-holding tools. Evenings invite sound, stillness, or ritual. You’ll experience five days on, two days to rest and integrate.
Mike O’Meara is a guide, ritualist, and breathworker who weaves together science, mysticism, and deep listening. He holds space with reverence and intuition, inviting your soul—not just your skills—to lead. Mike has over 10 years’ experience teaching breathwork and working with the plant kingdom and has taught over 300 people on his in-person one-month breathwork intensives.
Absolutely. Many people who join us are stepping into this kind of work for the first time. You don’t need to be experienced or know how it all works—just curious, open, and ready to meet yourself more fully. If you feel the call, you're already on the path.
No. You are welcome exactly as you are. The practices are adaptable, and you’ll be supported to move with your body—not against it. Whether you’re highly active or healing from injury, your breath meets you where you are.

Bring what makes you feel safe, held, and free to express. Movement clothes, layers for warmth, a journal, sacred items for the altar, and anything that helps you feel at home in yourself.

While no two days are identical, the rhythm of the retreat is designed to mirror the nervous system: expansion, release, integration, and rest. You might begin with movement or Qi Gong, followed by cold immersion and morning breath. Afternoons are dedicated to space-holding, trauma theory, shadow work, or sound practices. Evenings often close with ritual, stillness, or integration circles. The structure is held—but never rigid. The training flows with the group field, lunar cycles, and unseen guidance.
India is where this work deepens into its roots. Held in the cradle of ancient mysticism and raw aliveness, India mirrors the breath itself—chaotic and still, vibrant and sacred. The land holds memory, the people hold presence, and the energy awakens something ancient in those who walk it. To learn breathwork in India is to return not only to your breath, but to the source beneath it.
You’ll be certified in Conscious Connected Breathwork, taught in a grounded, integrative, and intuitive way. We teach you how to meet different nervous system types and adapt your facilitation with care and sensitivity.
To be certified, you’ll complete a post-training integration process that includes 40 days of personal practice, 25 one-on-one sessions, 5 group sessions, a final reflection, and an interview with Mike. This isn’t about checking boxes—it’s about growing into your voice and path as a facilitator.
Yes. You’ll leave with the skills, confidence, and support to begin offering breathwork professionally. Whether it’s one-on-one or small group sessions, you’ll know how to create spaces that are safe, sacred, and transformative.
Yes. Your certification is recognized by the International Breathwork Foundation and respected by a growing global network of facilitators and schools.
Breathwork is not just a healing modality—it’s a way of being. It reconnects you to your body’s intelligence, clears emotional residue, and awakens the deeper self. Whether you’re seeking personal healing, a professional tool, or a spiritual path, learning breathwork gives you the power to regulate your nervous system, shift states, and hold others through transformation. It is a gift for life.

Ceremony is the heart of how we hold space. You’ll learn to work with the elements, the altar, song, silence, and Earth-based ritual—not as performance, but as pathways to remembrance. Ritual opens the body, the heart, and the unseen—so transformation can root.
Mike holds space through the lens of the ritualist—drawing on rhythm, archetype, nature, and presence. His approach is intuitive, Earth-honoring, and guided by years of lived experience. This is not borrowed tradition. It’s lived, felt, and fiercely respectful.
We work with vibrational healing tools—like tuning forks, sound bowls, and edible-grade essential oils—not to treat or diagnose, but to support energetic balance, emotional release, and sensory awakening. These tools act as allies—gentle reminders to return to the present moment.
Yes—gently and in your own way. Over the course of the training, you’ll be invited to co-create and eventually guide rituals in a safe, supported environment. We believe that everyone carries the capacity to hold sacred space—you’ll learn to trust your own language of it.
This work touches everything. People come home to themselves. They release grief, ignite joy, reclaim voice, and rewire patterns they’ve carried for decades. Breath opens the door, but it is the ritual, the laughter, the tears, and the remembering that guide people into deeper alignment. Many describe it as waking up to the truth that they are star-stuff—dreaming at the edge of time—suddenly alive to the mystery of being here at all. You’ll leave with more than a certificate—you’ll leave with clarity, connection, and a deeper relationship to who you are.
Yes. Through breath, ritual, and honest witnessing, many reconnect with a deep sense of purpose. Sometimes it's quiet. Sometimes it roars. But the clarity comes—not from the outside, but from within.
Alumni often describe feeling more regulated, resilient, and spiritually anchored. They report clearer boundaries, deeper connection, more access to joy and grief, and the ability to hold space for others with integrity.
Integration is woven into everything we do. After the training, you’ll be guided through a 3-month container that includes mentorship, practice, and support. You’ll also be part of an ongoing global community. You won’t return home alone—you’ll return with tools, allies, and a deeper sense of self.
There are some trainings you choose with the mind. This one? The breath chooses you.
